Local 440's Jurisdiction covers  King County. What is "jurisdiction?" That means Local 440 is entitled to any Union Labor work  in our area, or "jurisdiction."  This does not include Building Trades, which is covered by Laborer's Local 242.

  • Our affiliate to the North, Laborer's Local 292,covers anything above the Snohomish line.

  • Our affiliate to the South, Laborer's Local 252,covers Pierce County and several other counties throughout Washington.

 

OUR WORK INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: EXCAVATIONS/MAINLINE PIPE/DISTRIBUTION UTILITY WORK/CONCRETE PLANTS/HEAVY HIGHWAY/TUNNELS/DAMS/BRIDGES

We also represent many Port of Seattle workers.
